This policy explains how we process personal data when you use vpick.ch, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Visiting the website

On every visit, our hosting provider automatically records technical data (IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser and operating system). This data is used only to run and secure the website and is deleted after a short period.

3. Cookies

The website uses technically necessary cookies (e.g. for the session, the customer account and, later, the cart). They are not used for advertising. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may then not work. If we introduce analytics tools, we will update this policy.

4. Contact

If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we process the data you send (name, phone number, email address, message) only to answer your request. WhatsApp is a service of Meta Platforms; its terms and privacy policy apply.

5. Customer account and orders

Once the online shop opens, we will process the data needed for orders: name, address, email, phone number, products ordered and order history.

• Payment: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive your full card details.
• Delivery: we pass the data needed for shipping to Swiss Post.
• Sign-in with Google or Facebook: if you choose this option, we receive your name and email address from these services.

6. Mobile app

The VPick app has its own privacy policy: VPick app privacy policy (in French).

7. Third-party links and services

Our website links to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp. When you follow these links, those providers process your data under their own responsibility.

8. Transfers abroad

Some providers (e.g. Stripe, Google or Meta) may process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the USA. In that case we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as recognised standard contractual clauses.

9. Retention

We keep personal data as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law (e.g. 10 years for accounting records).

10. Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data at any time, object to processing or request a copy of your data. Write to info@vpick.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

11. Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

12. Changes

We may update this policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
